Men rescued after falling through ice in Sheboygan County | By Sgt. Jesse Smith

December 29, 2020 – Sheboygan Co., WI – On December 29, 2020 at approximately 5:19 p.m. the Sheboygan County Dispatch Center received several 911 calls from residents along Random Lake reporting they were hearing people yelling for help.

Upon arrival rescue personnel found two males, 47 and 25 years old. The pair attempted to walk on Random Lake and fell in when the ice broke. Both males were rescued from the lake and transported to Aurora Grafton Hospital for further evaluation.

The following public safety agencies assisted with this incident: the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office, Random Lake Ambulance, Random Lake Fire Department, Sheboygan County Dive Team, Orange Cross Ambulance, Silver Creek Fire Department, Kohler Fire Department, Plymouth Fire Department Ambulance, and the Cedar Grove Fire Department.
