West Bend, WI – A check for $375 was presented to members of the Allenton American Legion Wreaths Across America Committee by West Bend Fleet Farm.
In addition to the generous donation the store allowed the Legion Post to have tables set up and manned to collect money to support their goal to purchase 801 wreaths to be placed in 18 cemeteries and other locations across Washington County, WI.

Members of the committee said the two days were very successful towards reaching a goal of 801 wreaths. The cost of a wreaths is $15.
The wreaths can be purchased for a specific veteran’s grave at one of the 18 cemeteries the post has taken on to place wreaths. A wreath can also be purchased for a specific veteran’s grave at another cemetery and picked up at the Allenton American Legion Clubhouse on Railroad Street in Allenton at 9 a.m. on Saturday, December 17.
