August 23, 2021 – Milwaukee, WI – Veterans and Gold Star Families have gathered at the Milwaukee War Memorial to share stories and conversation about the impact of the ending of American involvement in Afghanistan.
“I’m hoping veterans take an approach of leadership in what is happening with our veterans and overseas,” said Michael Orban with the Orban Foundation for Veterans.
Panelists include Afghanistan veteran Matt McDonell, Iraq and Afghanistan Veteran Chris Swift, Vietnam Veteran Joe Campbell, Vietnam Veteran Tiffany Koehler, and Vietnam Veteran Darryl Cooke with a special presentation by Dr. Greg Burek, Director advocate Aurora Veterans Program, Veteran, and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
