Big news today as McDonald’s in West Bend will be partnering with Judy Steffes and carrying the weekly Around the Bend column.
Around the Bend is a popular local-news column written by Judy Steffes. The last 10 years Steffes has been informing the community with first-run stories including new businesses coming to town, updates on people and personnel, along with a dash of history and humor.
A hat tip to Steve Kilian for reaching out and realizing how important the column is to the community.
Around the Bend books will be available for customers to read free of charge at both McDonald’s locations in West Bend including the Galactic McDonald’s, 1140 S. Main St., and the McDonald’s at 1810 W. Washington St.
There are now 17 businesses in the community that carry Around the Bend including Husar’s House of Fine Diamonds, Rivershores YMCA, VFW Post on Sand Drive, Sandy’s Cafe in Barton, Sweet Creations Bakery, Idle Hour or Two, Shorewest on Highway 33, the Washington County Senior Center, The Lighthouse, Sager’s Mens Apparel, Cedar Ridge, Lots for Tots, Brothers Restaurant in Kewaskum, Wendi’s Hair on Main in Kewaskum, and bootsandsabers.com
