Obit: Cheryl Marie Rasmussen, 59, Lomira

Cheryl Marie Rasmussen, 59, of Lomira went home to her Lord on Sunday, Sept. 4, 2016 at her home with her cherished family surrounding her. She was born in Fond du Lac on April 27, 1957, the daughter of Douglas and Carol (Bechler) Behnke. On Oct. 25, 1985, Cheryl married Lawrence E. Rasmussen in a private ceremony. Cheryl worked for the TSB Bank for 17 years. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Campbellsport, the Ladies Aid, Fond du Lac Toastmasters and Mayville Rotary and was an avid Green Bay Packer fan. Cheryl enjoyed camping but most of all she loved the time spent with family especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband Larry, her mother Carol Behnke, her children Michelle (Rick) Nett, Stephanie (Chad) Beekman, Derek (Jeano) Berg, April (Matthew) Soyk, Erin Rasmussen, Heidi (Shawn) Yanke and Jeremy (Heather) Rasmussen, 20 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, her brother Mike (Helen) Behnke, other relatives and friends. Cheryl was preceded in death by her father, her twin sister and her brother James Douglas.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, Sept 10th at 4:00 PM at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 350 S. Helena St. Campbellsport. Rev. Paul Cerny will officiate and family inurnment will be at a later date in Forest Cemetery.

Visitation will be Saturday, Sept. 10th from 1:00 PM until time of services at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Memorials are appreciated to Immanuel Lutheran Church or Waucousta Lutheran Grade School.
