Dec. 28, 2018 – Hartford, WI – Margaret C. Rodd, age 97, passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2018. She was born on October 31, 1921 in Hibbing, MN to parents Andrew and Maria (Copeta) Pappalardo. She was married to her former spouse Charles Gradisher. Margaret was united in marriage on July 1, 1967, to Lowell Rodd.
Margaret is survived by her loving husband Lowell; two sons, Ronald C. Gradisher and Gary A. (Wendy) Gradisher; two grandchildren, Kimberly A. Beckmann and Andrew P. (Loretta) Gradisher; four great-grandchildren, Katherine, Alexander, Mary and Lillian; two great-great-grandchildren, Amaya and Steel; brother, Joseph (Darlene) Pappalardo; brothers-in-law, Mark (Donna) Rodd and Donald Schrank; also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Margaret is preceded in death by four sisters, Ann Forese, Frances Cannata, Lena Tomassini, and Phyllis Azzone; sister-in-law, Mary Schrank.
Funeral Services for Margaret will be held at Shimon Funeral Home, 824 Union St., Hartford on Wednesday, January 2, at 12 Noon with Fr. David LaPlante presiding. Visitation at the Funeral Home from 11:00 AM until the time of service. Committal at Pinelawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.
