Part 1: Shiny and new, but what lasts? | By Kris Austin, OCS Head of School

“I love how biblical principles and stories are woven throughout their schoolwork,” said one parent.

Another parent was moved by her son’s love for his school. “He is getting a quality education and biblical training. He’s being prayed for and cared for body, mind and spirit.”

One parent explained she was glad OCS kept her children safe from the “ungodly ideology being taught in so many public schools.” She noted OCS students are not “sheltered,” but are “taught at age-appropriate levels what God’s word says about [sensitive topics] and how we as Christians should respond.”

As another parent put it, “The truth is getting harder to discover in this dark world, but OCS is the bright light shining to give parents hope.”
