September 23, 2020 – West Bend, WI – Police stopped traffic on Paradise Drive at the Highway 45 exit on Wednesday afternoon as PFC Michael Wise, 29, of West Bend returned home.
The Washington County Sheriff’s department provided an escort and members of the West Bend veterans Honor Guard stood at attention holding the U.S. flag as the hearse entered the parking lot at the Phillip Funeral Home.

Michael Wise was taken from his family and friends unexpectedly on September 12, 2020. For those who knew Michael he was a kind, caring, and loving person. Michael was an Air Force veteran with a passion to serve as he had recently re-enlisted into the U.S. Army. He was a great husband, father, brother, son and friend and will be greatly missed by all. Funeral Services for Michael will be held at 12 p.m. on Thursday, September 24 at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel, 1420 W Paradise Dr. West Bend, WI 53095.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 10 a.m. until 11:45 am.
Burial with full Military Honors will follow at Washington County Memorial Park.
