September 23, 2020 – West Bend, WI – The West Bend West JV1 volleyball team extended its record to 2 – 0 in a well-fought match against the Slinger Owls.
The Spartans took the Owls in three straight games 25 – 11, 25 – 19 , 25 – 17.
Serving and a quick offense were spot on for WBW as the team locked in a persistent defense that kept the ball alive with great hustle by all players.
Leading the way for the Spartans were Kelsey Lisko and Maria Olson who each had 3 kills, Emma Hertel had 7 ace serves, Aly Wagner had 8 assists and Megan Minz finished with 17 digs.
