Nov. 11, 2018 – Washington Co., WI – The Lady Wildcats began its 2018-19 season against UW-Fond du Lac. It was a tough uphill climb for most of the game as the Wildcats struggled to score throughout.
An early 5-2 lead for the Falcons quickly extended to double digits, and the Wildcats never recovered.
Despite trailing 51-19 at the half, the Wildcats began to figure it out on the defensive end, and they held the Falcons to just 23 points the entire second half.
However, foul trouble and fatigue helped the Falcons clamp down on the Wildcats offense, and UWO at Fond du Lac left with a 74-28 win over UWM at Washington County.
Sammie Brown led the Wildcats with 13 points , and Greta Strasser added another eight points including a pair of 3 pointers.
The Wildcats are back in action Saturday, Nov. 17 at home against UW-Green Bay, Marinette. Tipoff is at noon.
