June 26, 2017 – Elkhart Lake, WI – Elkhart Lake Police say the man whose body was discovered floating in Elkhart Lake on Saturday was a 45-year-old Sheboygan man.
Authorities said Dustin Knaus accidentally fell into the lake and drowned.
A 911 call to the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Communication Center alerted authorities to the tragedy. Elkhart Police were assisted by Sheriff’s deputies, the County Medical Examiner ’s Officer, Elkhart Lake Fire Department, and the DNR.
