LaVerne M. Butzler (nee Pfragner) of Hartford, Wisconsin passed away Thursday, July 21, 2016 at Cedar Lake Health Center in West Bend, WI.
She was born April 12, 1925 in Hartford, WI to Roman and Mayme (nee Hahn) Pfragner. LaVerne was united in marriage to Robert Butzler on May 17, 1947 at St. Kilian Catholic Church in Hartford.
She was a very proud volunteer at the Hartford Hospital in Hartford for 39 years. She enjoyed golf, dancing, laughing, traveling and visiting with friends and family.
She is survived her by loving children Caryl Schrab of Colorado Springs, Lynda (Thomas) Secor of Green Bay, and John Butzler of Hartford. Grandchildren Jennifer Hedden, Jamie Hock, Andrew and Ryan Secor, and Brittany and Joshua  Butzler. 7 great grandchildren. She is further survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.
LaVerne was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert in 2000, sister Marie Redlin, and son-in-law Edward Schrab.
Memorial Services for LaVerne will be held Friday, July 29, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at the Shimon Funeral Home (824 Union St. Hartford) Family will greet relatives and friends on Friday at the funeral home from 4 – 7:00 p.m.
Inurnment in Wisconsin Memorial Park Brookfield, WI.
